SIMZ WERKZ PTE LTD is a leading provider of plastic welding machines and high-quality workshop tools in the Asia Pacific region.
Established in August 1993 as an import & export trading company, Simz Werkz has transformed over the years to meet growing market demands in Singapore and the Asia Pacific. We have become a one-stop solution for our customers, offering services such as repairs, training, and machine rentals through our One-Stop Centre, supported by a team of in-house specialists with decades of experience.
Beyond Singapore, we have successfully introduced WIDOS machinery and services to projects in China, Taiwan, the Middle East, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Malaysia for renowned brands like Shell, TSMC, and MICRON.
We revolutionized our customer outreach by enhancing our website to allow direct quote requests and launched our eStore – www.SIMZWerkz.com – in 2018. This expansion into the B2C market added product lines for the medical, automotive, and motorcycle industries. The eStore proved invaluable during the Covid-19 pandemic, serving both B2B and B2C markets effectively.
This year, we celebrate our 30th anniversary in Singapore and the Asia Pacific. We are proud of our achievements and the relationships we have built. We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with exceptional service and innovative solutions for many years to come.
Our History
On 31 August, Ideal International Pte Ltd was established as a trading company dealing with WIDOS Butt Welding Machines, Air-conditioning and Cutting Tools.
On 26 April, WIDOS Far East Plastic was established to take care of all WIDOS plastic welding businesses.
The Company was appointed by WIDOS W Dommer Sohn GmbH, Germany, as its Service & Repair Centre to serve all WIDOS customers in the Asia-Pacific region.
With the appointment and expansion of the butt welding business and the increase in regional coverage, WIDOS Far East Plastic merged with Ideal International Pte Ltd to form WIDOS Technology (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd. This is to enhance its business and to give better service to its customers.
On 17 October, a Representative Office, known as WIDOS Technology SIP Representative Office, was set up in the Suzhou to take care of the China market.
Jumping on the trend of online shopping, we took to the internet with the launch of our first-ever eStore - Shop4Tools - focusing on quality hand tools, tools storage furniture, and plastic welding fittings.
Simz Werkz celebrated 25 Years of Excellence; we took the joyous occasion to announce the revamp and rebranding of our eStore to SIMZWerkz.com. With the growing interest for innovative hand tools and tool storage & organisation systems, the eStore shifted in demographics to serve more B2C market and moved towards automotive and motorcycle industry and the product line is constantly growing to fit market demands.
In the year of worldwide pandemic, Simz Werkz worked on improving our systems with time and introduced a more dynamic & efficient corporate site that allows customers to view our products on online and request for quote directly.
Moving forward with the green effort, Simz Werkz commits to sourcing machines (like the e-Fuze Battery Powered Electrofusion) that is environmental friendly, lower our carbon footprint, while keeping it safe for our users.
Our plastic welding arm has officially been rebranded and is known as SIMZ WELDZ moving forward. The is a milestone that signifies our growth and diversification and we look forward to sharing more about our exciting future developments soon.
